All religions are the same to me: T. Rajendar
After music composer Yuvan Shankar Raja embraced Islam a few years back, yet another young composer and younger sibling of actor Simbu and son of maverick filmmaker/politician T.Rajendar has converted to Islam. Kuralarasan’s initiation event was held at a mosque in Anna Salai. Kuralarasan’s dad T. Rajendar and mom Usha were also present when his son embraced Islam.
Later, speaking to the media, T. Rajendar said that for him, all religions are the same. “Tolerance of all religions is my policy. My elder son STR is an ardent Siva devotee. My daughter Ilakkiya is a Christian and now my younger son has preferred to follow Islam religion. I respect his decision.”
As a child, Kuralarasan acted in a few of his dad’s movies and later made his debut as a music composer in his elder brother STR’s romantic film Idhu Namma Aalu. Kural is composing music for a Bollywood flick now.

Kuralarasan is an Indian actor and composer who works in Tamil-language films. He has collaborated with his father, T. Rajendar, and his elder brother, Silambarasan, in all his films to date.

In February 2019, Kuralarasan's video of shahada (proclamation of faith) embracing Islam with the presence of his parents in a Masjid in Annasalai, Chennai had become viral.[1][2][3] Rajender in the press interview stated that Kuralarasan since young years had been passionate about Islam and completely embraced Islam through that proclamation event.[4] Kuralarasan stated that out of his own will being attracted to the principles
