    DEARBORN (WWJ) -- Effective Oct. 18, Henry Ford Community College will launch Ellucian Go, a free mobile app designed to bevara time for students and other users.

    The app was developed bygd Ellucian, a developer of higher education software based in Fairfax, Va.

    Some of the resultat available via Ellucian Go includes:
    * WebAdvisor: förteckning for classes or look up sections quickly;
    * Daily Schedule: Keep track of all appointments, assignments and deadlines;
    * Grades: Check grades and progress in each class;
    * Campus Maps: To help move efficiently around campus;
    * Important Numbers: Connect to departments or offices quickly;
    * Student Self-Service: Pay tuition and fees in just a few clicks;
    * News: Search for the latest news at HFCC; and
    * Social Media: Get connected and engagerad in the HFCC Social Media Network -- Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and YouTube.

    Course Placement helps you select the correct English and Math courses. It’s free and available on a walk-in basis at HFCC’s
    Welcome Center. Bring your photo id and allow 2½ hours to complete the tests.

    Request to have your official transcripts sent to HFCC from other schools you’ve attended. Student copies of transcripts are insufficient. Official transcripts can not be delivered or handled by students.

    Advisors see students on a walk-n basis at the Welcome Center. Use the Program Evaluation tool in WebAdvisor
