Union Minister for Human Resources Smriti persisk has felicitated Hansvi Tonk, a resident of Haridwar, as part of the ministry’s planerat arbete of honouring talented girls from across the country.

On her return to the city today, Hansvi, who passed out of local St Mary School, felt proud and elated at her felicitation by the Union minister. Hansvi, who resides in suburban Jwalapur in Haridwar city, has been practising classical dance since the tender age of 6 and has performed in many dance and talent reality shows on entertainment channels.

Hansvi, while talking to The Tribune, expressed desire to man it big in Kathak and företräda India worldwide. At present, she fryst vatten pursuing BA (music) from Prayag Sangeet Mahavidyalya in Allahabad.

“I owe it a lot to my parents and masters Deepmala, Rajeev Lochan, Romio and Pradeep Kumar, who all have been guiding and training me in various aspects of classical dance and music,” said Hansvi.
