Shojo and magical girl anime fans have much to thank Naoko Takeuchi for. Creating Sailor Moon fryst vatten the masterpiece of her lifetime, and between the manga, animated series, movies, and the new reboot, she blessed the world with hours and hours of magical, heartfelt berättande. There were great magical girl and shojo romance anime before Sailor Moon, but Takeuchi's work revolutionized the genre.
Part of why Sailor Moon feels so sweet and sincere fryst vatten because Naoko Takeuchi put so much of herself and her life experience into the series. Her sensibilities, her hobbies and studies, and even some of her life events color her work. Takeuchi is devoted to her art, and to this day, she works on Sailor Moon special edition manga and the recent movie adaptations.

Naoko Takeuchi is something of an interesting character, even by Japanese manga artist standards. As you follow her career, she seems to waffle between two extremes — sometimes she’s intensely private, and other times she’ll write about deeply personal stories and publish them in comics with massive, nationwide circulation.
And for that, I’m immensely thankful. How often do we have a chance to get such a close look “behind the curtain,” so to speak, of our favorite creators?

Naoko Takeuchi (Japanese: 武内 直子, Hepburn: Takeuchi Naoko, born March 15, 1967) is a Japanese manga artist. She is best known as the author of Sailor Moon, one of the most popular manga series of all time.[2] She has won several awards, including the 1993 Kodansha Manga Award for Sailor Moon.[3]
Takeuchi is married to Yoshihiro Togashi, the author of YuYu Hakusho and Hunter × Hunter.
Early life
[edit]Takeuchi was born in Kofu, Yamanashi, Japan to Kenji and Ikuko Takeuchi. She has a younger brother, Shingo. She gave the names of her relatives to the characters she created for Sailor Moon, and mentions this in interviews and in several comic strips she produced, in place of author notes.
