A fan favorite, she placed fifth in the contest. In 2013, Janice joined Telemundo's Noticiero 47 and formed part of the Primera Alerta weather team. Since 2017, Janice had been been covering the weather on Telemundo's morning show, Un Nuevo Día, where she also reported on traffic on the morning show from 5 am to 7 am.
